2nd Canadian National Undergraduate Bioethics Conference Logo

Participant Details

Who Can Come?

Any student completing an undergraduate degree at any recognized Canadian, or International post-secondary educational institution may apply to be a participant at the 2005 conference.

Why Should You Come?

Anyone planning a career in any field involving bio-medical issues will have a vested interest in the issues discussed at this conference. Examples of such fields might be medicine, law, bioethics, etc. Also, the topics of discussion may be of general interest to anyone, since they concern ethical disputes over new reproductive technologies, the Canadian Healthcare System and other issues relevant to the daily lives of Canadians, present and future. Where Will I Stay?

We have reserved enough space at the Canadiana Backpackers Inn for all the students participating in the conference. http://www.canadianalodging.com/ The cost of the rooms has been subsidized by the organizing committee of the conference so students looking to stay at the Inn will only have to pay half of the regular price, which ends up being approximately eleven dollars per night. This is quite a deal given that the hostel (which is gorgeous) is right in downtown Toronto. [top]

Where Will I Eat?

Included in the registration cost are breakfasts for Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Participants are responsible for all other meals. [top]
