Any student completing an undergraduate degree at any recognized Canadian, or International post-secondary educational institution may apply to be a participant at the 2006 conference.
Anyone planning a career in any field involving bio-medical issues will have a vested interest in the issues discussed at this conference. Examples of such fields might be medicine, law, bioethics, etc. Also, the topics of discussion may be of general interest to anyone, since they concern ethical disputes over new reproductive technologies, the Canadian Healthcare System and other issues relevant to the daily lives of Canadians, present and future. We have reserved enough space at the Holiday Inn for all of the students participating in the conference. The cost of the rooms has been subsidized by the organizing committee of the conference so students looking to stay at the Inn will only have to pay half of the regular price, which ends up being approximately $43.85 dollars per night (provided that they share a room with another conference participant). The total accommodations cost for all three nights is $131.55 CDN (with a roommate). Without a roommate, the cost is $263.10 CDN. Rooms will only be held until the first week in February, so please register soon if you require a guaranteed hotel room! [top]
Included in the registration fee are continental breakfasts for Friday, Saturday and Sunday, at the Holiday Inn. If you are a conference participant who will not be staying at the Holiday Inn, please contact the organizing committee to make arrangements for breakfast on those three mornings. Lunch and supper on Friday, and lunch and the closing banquet dinner on Saturday are also included in the conference registration fee. [top]
